another one...

"NO no no no no no no no no!!" It's said 9x really fast, by a guy with what seems to be a foreign (can't place it) accent)  No idea on that one.

That one sounds like something from Monty Python.

The sound drops are ridiculously excessive. Somehow the drops even outnumber Rome's show, which is hard to do.

sound drops don't usually bother me.

what bothered me, was every tweet/text that Rome read was a callback to a sound drop.

Mohr's audience hasn't stooped to that, yet.

When Jay first started the show, he vowed that he wasn't going to bang us over the head with repeated sound drops over and over, but he's just as guilty as Rome of overusing them.  I haven't listened to Rome in 2 years, so I don't know how frequently he plays them now, but it was quite a bit.  I do know, however, that Jay plays them practically every segment.

Make me feel great, you know.

I think it has actually gotten better. The drops flow with the show, early on it had a "morning zoo" quality that even JJ admitted. The drops are well timed, and aside from a few (I could do without "Diamonds and Pearls") I think they are fine. JJ moves through his material well, doesn't dwell on it or "reset" it for entire segments (with few exceptions) and has integrated his crew into the show. It has only been 4 months, people. The best parts of the show are when they go off script and just have fun with it. He integrates listeners, and doesn't act like he is "above" them. Some of it is out of his hands (Top 5 at 5), remember that. Ok, ballwash over.....
