Started with the comments today....Went into meltdown mode this evening. I don't always love POB, but he's a legend in the sports business. Silver insulted him a few days back (Pat asked him about the upcoming NFL games, and Silver spouted off some line like "don't you have the sports ticker there in front of you?") and then had the balls to keep on talking shit on Twitter. Props to JJ, POB, and some THTC members for calling out Silver. What a d-bag

Mike Silver is some SI.com writer, and last week POB had him on to talk NFL football. Pat asks something along the lines of "so what are the big stories for the 1st week." And Silver, seemingly pissed, said "well, don't you have the sports ticker right there in front of you?" Well Friday POB came into studio during JJ's show and recapped the events. And JJ proceeded to call out Silver for being a punk and a jerk. Then the Twitter war ensued that evening...IMO, Mike Silver was being a dick. I am not always a huge fan of POB, but the man is pretty much a legend in sports broadcasting. Silver is some web hack for and SI and Yahoo, and needed to show a bit more respect...and to tough talk and not apologize during the twitter stuff just made him look worse....my take anyway
