Dan Beyer (Sports Anchor) .. Strongest man in the world, arch enemy of Mark Henry, loves baby carrots, does not eat real babies, likes to hang out in the hall.

Matty Boy (Ass. Producer) .. Tweet screener, only has 1 lung from smoking too much weed, has a semi creepy mustache, is in love with Amanda Bynes.

Greg Toohey (Executive Producer) .. looks like a muppett, resembles a toddler, enjoys all things toddler related.

John Ramos (Sound board) .. pays attention roughly 75% of the time, usually busy snacking on things like almonds with wasabi sauce.

Vito Violante (Ass. Producer) .. werewolf that Pat O'Brien discovered and adopted years ago in Transylvania.

Brain (Former intern from Venezuela) .. enormous head, karaoke aficionado, used to announce callers from Lawl Lyland (Long island) and Floor-eeda! (Florida)

Pat O'Brien (everyone knows P.O.B.) .. his show follows Jay's, knows everyone who ever lived, likes to step in unannounced to ask Jay questions like where in the hell his chair is.

Format for CARUSO Jokes (mostly tweets but occasional rapid fire calls):

INTRO:
"Well Jay" (all Caruso's start off with this greeting)

SETUP:
"I guess..."
"I guess you could say..."
"It looks like...", etc.
(most setup's continue the Caruso joke with one of these above phrases, but it doesn't really matter as long as you set up the punch line)

PUNCHLINE:
"?"
(This needs to be a pun, a bad pun or some play on words)

Caruso Example:
"Well Jay, I guess French Fry Phil's Caruso guide will help Houston play... KETCHUP"... YEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!

Tips:
1) imagine Jay doing his CSI:Miami David Caruso impression while writing it
2) if you call a Caruso in during Rapid Fire, you have to punctuate your own Caruso with a Roger Daltrey "yeah" yell
3) nothing from this post applies if you are doing an Etchant Man(@shecky14) Caruso

not from houston but a fairly new listener. What is this deal with Beyer being intercontinental champion? is it a legitimate thing or some show joke? I know the RAMOS sound is from Gus Johnson, but from what game/moment? and how many of you are former Rome listeners who switched to Jay when he got his own show? I remember him guest hosting on Rome and being more pumped for the show. Rome is kind of a sellout whos arrogance has gotten overboard even for me. And it seems like all he does is kiss guests asses and rarely go to callers/emails. Rome used to have his funny takes and segments... but Mohr does this every damn day and hour on his show. So of course im now listening to him even if his sports takes are sometimes a little idiotic (like thinking they shouldnt ban steroids)

The Continental Championship isn't "real" per se...it has to do with who can do the most pushups on Weds...and other contests/reasons JJ comes up with.
