Whats the story behind the sound clip "who wants their treat?" and when did it originate? i think its absolutely hilarious and dont even know how it all got started.

The rap is Dan Byer who was challenged to "free style" a rap...it's hilarious!! You may have to go to the podcast from that day to hear the entire thing..it originally aired 2/24 towards the end of the show I believe.  Hope this helps.

okay i hunted around for it. It is actually at the end of hour 2 on 2-21. thank you for the ballpark guess though.

Can someone explain to me this rap they play which uses Drake's "The Motto" as the backing music? is there anywhere where i can listen to it? it sounds hilarious i just need to know what its all about.

1940's announcer is from an old Ron Bennington bit where he was doing the announcers from jackie Robinson's first games. "Come on down to the ball park and see the wolrd's first black ball player"

Didnt he start doing it after the "when announcers attack" segment with the San Diego Padres announcer calling a walk off home run by saying "I believe hes won the ball game... HES WON THE BALLGAME!". Jay was spot on with that joke, i was thinking about that before he even did it.
