I suggest podcasting it. Each hour is usually up within the next hour. No commercials. It's a good way to go. You can do it on your phone.

And what's really messed up about this is how they say we need MORE local sports talk, when Houston already has 5 sports talk radio stations. From what I hear around the country, this is an insane amount for 1 city. Most other large markets have 1 or 2 at most.

BTW, I like listening to Matt Thomas, but he takes waaaaay too many shots at Jay Mohr. He's even gone so far to imply that Matty Boy talks like a ree-ree.

790 is trying their damndest to lose me as a listener. Need Matt Jackson and Adam Wexler to pop up somewhere else.

Where did Jay and Matty get "Sweep Harder!" or other things they say to do something harder?

Jay and John DiMaggio once went to a Kings-Flames game, and apparently the Flames were getting blown out. The arena was really quiet while the action was going on, so one of them screamed out LETS GO FLAMES in a very flamboyant voice, and everyone in there section laughed really hard. So they kept it going for a while. Saying other stuff like SKATE HARDER.

So that's why that bit comes up.

I listened to it. It sounds all good and well, but I can't root for the Astros while that asshole swindler Crane is still the owner. He clearly doesn't care about winning and only about making a profit.

If Les Alexander buys the team from Crane then maybe I can be a fan again -- IF I can still get over them not being in the National League anymore.
