3k hits not to mention the doubles? Dude started as a catcher and transitioned to 2nd. His longevity was also remarkable. 7 time all star with 4 gold gloves. Hes not Cal Ripkin, but his numbers speak volumes anyway. Complete horse shit.  >:(
